New Covenant
If you love singing, how about sharing that gift in worship? All are welcome to find a new spiritual level of worship as well as a loving musical community in our new adult choir. There are no auditions. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Worshiping at the 8:30am or 10:00am Sunday services in alternate months, the choir’s goal is to enhance the congregation’s worship experience through word and song. Singers of all abilities and ages are welcome.

Starfire Singers
This choir, for youth in grades 9–12 (all levels of singing ability welcome!), sings on a rotating basis at the Sunday morning worship services. In addition to presenting music of high quality, the group provides a vital fellowship program. Starfire Singers perform in special concerts throughout the year, going on retreats and special outings. It is a great way for youth to meet new people, have fun, and grow in faith. Starfire rehearses Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. See Youth’s Ministries for more information.

Creekside Worship Band
The Creekside Worship Band made its debut in 2001 at the first Creekside Crossings worship service. And it has been performing there and at several Los Altos United Methodist Church services and concerts ever since. Made up of LAUMC members, friends, ministers and staff, the Creekside Worship Band (CWB) is incredibly talented and makes worship at Creekside Crossings even more powerful and inspiring.
CWB performs some of the best modern praise and worship music, as well as new music written by our own Dirk Damonte, Minister of Music & Worship Arts. The songs range from high-energy Christian rock to soulful ballads. CWB’s music consists of vocals, keyboard, guitars, bass, drums and percussion. At Creekside Crossings, we believe that music is a great way to worship God and feel God’s presence. The Creekside Worship Band makes faith come alive through its awesome music.

The Organ
People from throughout the community come to Los Altos United Methodist Church to see and hear the organ in our sanctuary. The original pipe organ was installed in 1962. It was expanded and finally, in 2007, the Swain and Kates pipework (45 rank pipe organ with 2,416 pipes) was combined with an Allen 465 Custom Organ Console with 4 manuals, 87 stops, 4 organ suites (American, French, German and English), and 255 MIDI voices. This organ can now support the diverse styles of music demanded by the different choirs and music programs.
Alleluia Ringers
Alleluia Ringers is the LAUMC bell choir. Rehearsals on the handbells are on Mondays, 7:00–9:00pm in the Choir Room. We’re always looking for new handbell ringers, no experience necessary – so join us and be ready to have fun!
