“gen2gen: Seniors and Wisdom Generation” is simply the new name for our Senior Group, continuing the same ministry we’ve always had. Our vision is to nurture a church environment rich in intergenerational relationships and sustained connections. We’ll maintain our traditional Senior Ministry gatherings and explore a hybrid approach with new equipment, allowing for remote participation. We aim to enrich our fellowship with day trips, outings, and the possibility of a Christmas luncheon, extending our reach beyond the confines of the ‘senior’ identity to embrace all generations.

The rebranding to ‘gen2gen: Seniors and Wisdom Generation’ emerged from the desire to create a space where every individual can find a place that meets their needs without being confined by the label ‘senior.’ It symbolizes the first intentional step towards building an ageless, intergenerational church community. Please know that your wisdom is valued, and both I and LAUMC are grateful for your contributions as we embark on this journey with a refreshed title and vision.
