Many of us are experiencing major changes in our lives. Our lifestyle has changed due to the Shelter-in-Place restrictions. Our jobs have changed or disappeared. Our children’s education process has changed. Our travel plans and our future plans have changed. Letting go of the familiar and leaning into change can be fearful for all of us.
A new small group, The Connect Group, will be using Let Go: Leaning Into the Future Without Fear, by Matt Miofsky, as a guide for managing change and transition with faith as a compass. You are invited to learn how to manage the uncertainty and fear often caused by change, using the Exodus story as a roadmap for how change looks when you are following God’s lead. You just might come to recognize that you are not alone—you have a God who is leading you every step of the way.
In addition to studying the book, the small group will foster new friendships through sharing, caring, and a time for supportive prayer. The group will meet on the first and third Mondays of each month, 7:30–9:00pm, via Zoom.
If you are interested in joining this group, please sign up using this form or by email. The group size will be limited to 12 participants, and if more people are interested additional groups will be formed. If you would like more details about the group, contact Dave Beggs.
