January 14 – February 18 2023, 1:00pm to 2:30pm
Grief is a natural response to the loss of someone very dear to us. Anyone can experience grief and loss, but each person’s journey through grief is unique and it is never easy. An important factor in healing from loss is having the support of other people.
A new small group is forming at LAUMC to support those who are experiencing grief from the loss of a loved one. This group can provide compassionate support and guidance as you journey through your unique loss experience. This group can offer a place to talk about loss, receive information about the grief process, and gain support from others who are grieving, as well. Participation in this group can help you move on to healing through spiritual and emotional growth.
The Grief Support Group will start on Saturday, January 14 and meet for 6 sessions: Jan 14, Jan 21, Jan 28, Feb 4, Feb 11, Feb 18. We will meet 1 to 2:30pm. The grief support group will meet In the LAUMC Resource Room and online. You may attend the meetings via Zoom if you are unable to participate in person.
If you have experienced the loss of a loved one, we hope that you will consider joining us. For more information, please contact Karen Pandula or Dave Beggs by email:
