Saturday’s Block Party spread out over the entire LAUMC campus drew over 160 children, youth, and adults. The day began with a very participatory and well-attended Children’s Music Concert by Sean’s Music Factory, followed by games, face-painting, spin-art, helium balloon, intergenerational fellowship, food, and a whole lot of fun. The Block Party was organized by our Children’s Ministry Director, Sharon McClintock, and our Youth Ministries Director, Timothy Loewen-Elofson, and had great support from the Children’s Center staff, Sunday School teachers, and Youth Leaders. A big thanks to our gen2gen volunteers for organizing and preparing lunch for all.
We are having a church-wide Block Party with a little something for everyone, from Children’s Ministry to gen2gen. The event kicks off with Sean’s Music Factory family concert at 10, and it will continue with lawn games, pickleball, and more all around our campus.
