We just received word that the United Methodist Conference of the Kansas City area has challenged our Conference to a Superbowl Food Drive Competition: On Superbowl Sunday which Conference can receive the most non-perishable food donations. So, we are requesting donations of non-perishable food items to be brought in this Sunday to LAUMC or to the Mountain View/Trinity Fellowship. We will be donating all we receive to our local CSA Food Pantry (they especially need non-perishable: high-protein foods, oatmeal, pasta, rice, vegetables, and rice).
This challenge is separate from our 3rd Sunday Produce Collection, which will happen on Sun. Feb. 18th
