Cindy Golden, LAUMC’s director of media ministries and youth projects, has been an invaluable member of the staff for many years, touching the lives of countless youth through her work on confirmation and summer tours as well as overseeing the livestreaming and video production needs of the church. She has decided to leave the staff as she moves forward into the next phase of her life, and we want to honor and celebrate the ways that she has shared her gifts with us.
All are invited to attend a special farewell for Cindy that will follow the Creekside Crossings service on Sunday, August 11, with the celebration starting at 6:00pm. The farewell event will include dinner, at a cost of $10/adult, $5/child, or a maximum of $25/family. Please register online to ensure that sufficient dinner is provided.
The farewell celebration organizers are also collecting money for a cash gift for Cindy. If you would like to contribute, make your check payable to Denise Robinson (not to LAUMC) and deliver it to the church office by August 9. Denise will write a lump sum check to Cindy, and Cindy will get a list of the names of those who have contributed to the gift.
