by Dacher Keltner
A book study led by Pastor Dave Samelson
The new science of awe is everywhere, and so is Dacher Keltner, whose book Awe is at the center of it all. Dacher Kelter has brought the science of awe to the Inside Out movie series, Steve Kerr and the Golden State Warriors, and this past year to LAUMC through numerous sermons by Pastor Dave. This class will cover Keltner’s bestselling book and make the new science of awe — clear, simple and understandable for all.

How To Read the Bible – For All It’s Worth
A hands-on class led by
Youth Ministries Director Timothy Loewen-Elofson
(first class 9/19)
The Bible is a pretty weird library of writings, texts, poems, and more. It can seem intimidating, mysterious, and confusing for those approaching it if you don’t know where to start. This class offers a hands-on, practical introduction to approaching the Bible through text through a series of lessons built around baking, TV shows, and… Taylor Swift. Each week will have something new!
