This training is required for volunteers who wish to become certified and badged as ERT Team Members.
ERTs serve in the critical window after first responders have completed their immediate work and before long-term disaster recovery begins. Teams help prevent further property damage, assist with cleanup, prepare homes and communities for repair, and offer compassionate support to survivors in Local Assistance Centers.
Live Scan fingerprinting and Safe Gatherings approval are required to participate. These costs are separate and additional. Participants must be at least 18 years old.
