Update: People were invited to share issues they care deeply about, and groups were formed around the top issues identified: threats to democracy, immigration, economic/food instability, international crises such as the Gaza conflict, and societal lack of empathy. Next steps will involve continuing the conversations during the Wednesday night class, “So What Now?”, offered by Timothy Loewen-Elofson in September, and exploring ways to take collective action.

What Matters? Connecting Around Common Dreams.
What matters to you? Who matters to you?
What do you dream were different in our broader community?
You are invited to a fun, interactive event for the whole congregation:
– share what matters to you
– listen to and discover what matters to others
– connect with others who have common interests and concerns
Let’s be a congregation that listens and inspires an active faith, pursuing what matters to God and to us.
