Did you know that LAUMC has a Cancer Support Group? The group has been meeting for more than a year, with about a dozen members. The format has proven to be effective for all to participate. All cancer survivors (and you are a survivor the minute you receive the diagnosis) from the church and from the community are invited to attend the monthly meetings, held on the first Thursdays of each month. Participants are educated by outside experts and supported by each other.
