Advent Generosity Goal: $150,000
Donations Received to Date: $110,125
Donations Needed to Reach our Goal: $39,875
We are now approaching the 75 percent mark of our Advent Generosity goal.
Through January we are boldly seeking to get to 100 percent!
Thank you for your amazing generosity.
Every year at Los Altos, we celebrate the season of Advent many ways, one of which is Advent Generosity. We have 3 wonderful beneficiaries that we will be sponsoring this year—Art Changes Us (ACU), the Ukrainian National Children’s Hospital, and Compassion Week 2023. We would love for you to partner with us as we give generously to the important work that these three organizations are doing. You can give by bringing a check to any of the Christmas Eve Services, mailing or dropping a check off at the church, by texting ADVENT, AG, ADGEN and your donation amount (example: ADVENT 100) to 650-229-5200, or you can give online by clicking the button below and selecting “Advent Generosity.”
Art Changes Us
Art Changes Us (ACU), which grew out of the LAUMC Changemaker Initiative, is all about helping under-resourced youth in our area discover purpose through art. Its mission focuses on youth empowerment, leadership development, and social entrepreneurship.

Compassion Week 2023
Compassion Week has grown, since its inception, to reach and include a wider diversity of partners, volunteers, and folks in need. It empowers our community to meet, understand, and love our neighbors. Contributions will enable Compassion Week to expand its impact and strengthen partnerships with local faith communities & community organizations as we share in the work of bold service and social justice.

Ukrainian National Children’s Hospital
The Ukrainian National Children’s Hospital is ground zero for anyone in need of surgery or critical care amid intense Russian shelling. Contributions will provide critical resources and medical care for some of Ukraine’s most vulnerable citizens, especially women and children who are suffering amidst the war.
